Customize your homepage

You can customize your homepage to display information you need in the format of your choice. For example, you can select the columns you want to see in each panel and choose between a grid or calendar view for assigned tasks.

To begin customizing your homepage, do the following:

  1. Log into your Clarizen account.
  2. Click the  thin blue bar on the left-hand side to open up the Navigation panel.
  3. Click Home.

Choose panels to be displayed

  1. On the left-hand side below your profile picture, click Customize Home.
  2. Select or de-select the panels you wish to see on your homepage.
Panel Description
Discussions See discussions from you entire newsfeed. You can filter the conversations you see in the feed based on the post status or type.
Empty panels You can hide panels that contain no relevant information based on the search filter set for that panel.

 


Manage columns within panels

 To choose the fields you want to see in any panel, do the following:

  1. Click the  gear icon in the top left corner of the panel.
  2. Under Manage, click Columns.
  3. Choose or search within the list of available fields.
  4. Select the fields you want to see and add them to the list in the right column.

Tip: You can wrap column titles by clicking on the gear icon and selecting Wrap titles.

Switch between displays

You can choose between different views for each panel: grid, chart, thumbnail (projects only), or calendar.

To change the way the panel is displayed, do the following:

  1. Click the  gear icon in the top left corner of the panel.
  2. Under Display As, choose from the list of views.

Use filters to drill down information

You may find you want more or less information displayed in a panel.

To manage the information that is filtered for any panel, do the following:

  1. Click the  filter icon in the top right corner of the panel.
  2. Select or deselect the information you want to include or exclude.
