In Clarizen, when reporting on data that includes relations or multi-select picklists, you can choose to display the records by individual values or by actual values.
Example of displaying data in charts by individual or actual values
For example, in the Project by Region report, in the x-Axis , you can view results either by displaying projects related to a specific set of regions, or displaying individual regions with all projects that affect them.
To see how many regions a project affects, in the report settings, select the Display Actual Values option. In this view, in the X-Axis, you see all projects (each project is displayed only once, 15 projects total), and all affected regions for each project.
To see how many projects are associated with each region, in the report settings, select the Display Individual Values option. In this view, in the X-Axis, you see regions and all projects associated with this region. If a project involves more than one region, the project is displayed for each region.
Example of displaying data in report results by individual or actual values
In the Project by Resource report, you can view report results either by displaying each person individually with the total number of projects assigned to the person (Individual value), or displaying all people who are assigned to the same project with the total number of shared projects (Actual values).
The Actual Value option shows a list of people who work on the same projects.
