When Clarizen introduces new features as part of bi-weekly updates, to ensure the integrity and stability of your environment, these features are first introduced via Clarizen Labs and are not enabled by default.
If you would like to pre-view and test a feature, your System administrator can enable it. We welcome your feedback and suggestions!
At this time, the following features are available via Clarizen Labs:
Feature | Description | GA date |
Enable real-time updates | Allow multiple users to work on the same item (project, timesheet, etc.) simultaneously and see changes in real-time. | Winter 2016 |
Project utilization | Allow users to view project resource utilization. | Winter 2016 |
Import from Excel | Import new or update existing data from an Excel spreadsheet to Clarizen | Winter 2016 |
Resource Load view performance improvements | Faster system performance when loading and displaying data in the Resource Load view. | TBD |
there is a work plan expansion enhancement setting in Labs that doesn't show up here...
Ariel,
Thank you for the update. I will be sure to get this fixed.
Are all three of the June release items going to be in the upcoming Spring release? If so, please ensure they are included in the release notes.
Hi Ariel,
Project Utilization is the only features that will remain in the Labs after the June 19 release.
Kind regards,
Natasha.
I meant that the Spring release notes do not include the labs features that are graduating to GA...
It appears the Real-Time Updates and Editable Reports features are still in Labs. Weren't these supposed to be released as GA with today's update?
Hi Scott,
We have decided to keep these feature in the Labs for additional testing. The new tentative GA date is October 2016.
for real time updates, will this show updates by others to % complete? How long are the changes persistent (meaning, how long will I see a highlighted cell on changes by others)?
What about the time reporting module? It's very basic and lacking many features.
