See Kanban Boards and Tasks to learn about creating Boards and Tasks.
- After creating a backlog Board, you can continue building out your plan by adding Sprint Boards for each of your sprints.
- To add new sprints, open the Boards tab and click + Board.
- Enter the name of the sprint, and select the Sprint Board type.
You can now customize your Scrum Boards with Stages. - During your sprint planning, you can move Tasks from your backlog to the relevant sprint.
To move a Task, you can update its Board in any of the grid/board views, or simply drag and drop Tasks from the Workspace's backlog to the relevant Sprint Board.
Note about deleting a Backlog Board
To delete the Backlog Board:
- must not have any Tasks
- there must be no Sprint Boards or archived Sprint Boards
- the Backlog Board cannot be the default Board in the Workspace
Sprint Indications and Status
In the Workspace, you can see how many completed and scheduled sprints you have.
Charts
In the Sprint Board, click Sprint Details to see charts.
Status Chart
The Status chart shows the number of tasks and estimated/remaining effort by task status.
Burndown Chart
The Burndown chart shows your team's progress in a sprint, and how much work is left. The number of To Do Tasks is shown by default, and you can add Doing and Blocked Tasks as well if selected.
Display by lets you view by estimated or remaining effort instead of by number of Tasks.
Use the Burnup option to show the number of completed Tasks for every day of the sprint.
Velocity Chart
Use the Velocity chart to see how many Tasks were completed in every sprint. By comparing planned vs completed work, you can see whether the team is over- or under-delivering and therefore improve planning for future sprints.
Display by lets you view velocity by estimated or remaining effort instead of by number of Tasks.
Trends Chart
Use the Trends chart to track the team's progress in the sprint compared to previous sprints. Select which Task statuses to view on the chart.
Display by lets you view by estimated or remaining effort instead of by number of Tasks.
Rescheduling Sprints
You can reschedule an individual sprint, or a series of sprints.
- Open the menu of a selected Sprint, and select Sprints Schedule.
- To update the current sprint, select Current Sprint and then the relevant sprint from the drop-down menu. Select the Start and Due dates, and click Apply.
To update the series, select Series, and then the sprint from which you want to reschedule the series from the drop-down menu. Select the Start Date and Duration for remaining sprints, and click Apply to # Sprints.
