Morning all,
I'm trying to produce a report that will show me the monthly costs of a project. I've found the below link but it hasn't really given any detail as to how to create the report.
I've also attached a link to an example. It looks like this should be really simple but its beating me, at the moment.
I know I can run a resource allocation report and then manually add formula's to give me costs based on each resources cost, but I'd rather there be a report to automate the whole process.
Can anyone help me produce this please?

I've just found a "Cost & Revenue Forecast by Project" report which is almost what I want. It gives me the project costs each month but ideally I would like it broken down further int milestones and tasks.
Of course, I cant edit this report to see how its working!

Why aren't you creating a custom report to fit your needs? It's typically very easy to do. If you're looking for an out-of-the-box report, you may not find a report that completely fits your needs.
I'm struggling to see how I can produce the report to show the cost info month by month in rows. As per the spreadsheet I attached, I want tasks in one column on the left and then costs along the row next to the task and under the month column.
