I just came upon this post and would like to know if there has been an update. I also would like to see a 'Run Now' option to test the rule. Some of my more complex rules are not running properly and I have to wait a day to test.
Hi, Would it be possible to give a Scheduled Workflow an actual start date from when it can start running? Would it also be possible to create an option to force a scheduled workflow to start immediately.
This would be really helpful for when developing scheduled workflows as I always have a delay in testing them as well as making sure it starts running at/from the desired date.

John - not sure if you have tried this but it has been helpful for me,
Save your workflow as a custom action, that way you can trigger it on an object and see how it behaves - also, you can add in some notifications to print out details that will give you more insight into its workings.
Would love to see this implemented too!
As for setting up a start date, I'd suggest you implement it with the evaluation criteria.
As for starting immediately, I'd suggest you submit a support CR, perhaps for a manual 'Run now' option for scheduled workflow rules. Contact you customer success engineer if you need assistance.
