[Question][V6] Tell me how to go back to the module view from the item detail view?

[Question][V6] Tell me how to go back to the module view from the item detail view?

[Descripton]

In the risk view in V5.4, it shows the properties page as a pop-up window to edit parameters of a risk.

You can go back to the risk list view by pressing the X button, pressing the Cancel button, or pressing Esc button.

However, in the Risk module view in V6, the item detail view is displayed in a whole screen.

I don't know how to go back to the risk module view after editing the parameters.

[Expected Bahavior]

We hope Clarizen to support the same way as V5.4. (Press the X button, pressing Cancel button, Escape button.)

Hello Hongo-san,

You can use the backspace keyboard key, or use the 'back' button of your internet browser to return to the previous page. So if you were in the risk detail view, you will then be on the risks module view.

You can always alt+n to open the navigatio nbar and then select the relevant module, of course.

Hello Janathan-san,

Thank you for your response.

I don't think it's a good solution for the web system using AJAX or something like that.

Since it has a tree structure concept like Home screen -> Risk module -> Item detail view, you need to add a navigator, which shows your location and which enables you to go back wherever you want.

You can also stay in the Risk View and not drill down to the Risk Detail View.  If you select a risk and then click "More Info" in the upper right, that will give you a popup similar to V5.4.

Josh-san,

Thank you for the information.

I will let our team members know this way clicking "More Info" in the upper right.

Anyway, I'd suggest you should do something for the item detail view so that the user can intuitively find how to get back to the module view.

We're trying to train everyone to use the breadcrumbs in the upper left, since this is consistent throughout the entire UI.  Another idea would be adding the preview eye to items in these module views, but I'm not sure it will be any faster.  What about adding the columns they needs to fill out to this view itself? Then they could fill in the data like an Excel spreadsheet.  Would that work?

Josh-san,

I agree that your team add the breadcrumbs in the upper left. It's intuitive and any users can go back anywhere they want.

I don't get what you said " What about adding the columns they needs to fill out to this view itself?" but fill in data in the Risk module view itself like Excel spreadsheet would be good. You don't have to open the item detail view.

I think the current system works like that.

However, you sometimes need to open the item detail view or property window if you want to check the detail items.

In that case, if you open the item detail view like one screen / one page, the showing the breadcrumbs in the upper left would be better.

If you open the item detail view like popup window, accepting placing "OK" and "Cancel" buttons in the bottom and accepting escape key would be better.

One advice.

In the current V6, it looks there is a breadcrumbs in the upper left but it is not.

The current one only shows "Module name" and "View name".

It is not intuitive. You should replace the current one with a breadcrumbs there.

Ah you are right, for risks the breadcrumbs are not there. If you drill into work items you will see them below the views. Will relay the feedback to our product team. Thanks!
