How can I set the "Visualization Mode" to "Chart" in a Custom Report?

Hi,

I am trying to copy and edit a System Report called "Number of a Specific Case Type (e.g. Bugs, Risks) by State".

This system report is a "chart", but when I make changes to it it becomes a regular "List" and I cannot turn it back to a "Chart".

Also, the system settings uses a field called <Cases>.Count. This field does not exists in the available fields panel and I don't understand how to recreate it in my custom report.

Thanks,

Arnon

Arnon,

These are pre-built Reports that are charts and it seems that specifying List vs. Chart is not an option for manually created Reports. Also, the <Cases>.COUNT is a hard-coded field it seems and does not exist as a standard field in Clarizen. Since it seems to be referencing the Case Count, you would need to create a customized field that reflects this value so that it can be seen with the Cases Item Type and therefore seen and used within your Reports.

Please be aware that our Product Team is working hard to drastically improve our Reports Module to increase functionality and make it more robust. Currently, it is scheduled for a Q4 2014 release but no hard set release date is available.

For further information and assistance, I suggest contacting your CSM to see if this can be done and for further steps, whether that means working with the CSM or opening a ticket with Support.

Sincerely,

Boris Krutiy
