Can we try out other license types?

I was trying to assign a social user license to a new user (have not purchased one yet)  because we wanted to see what was available using the trial.   The license shows good to 7/22, but I am unable to send an invitation to the new user.    Should this be possible?

 

Also, I want to look at upgrading two T&E licenses to Team Member licenses.  We have not used Team Member licenses yet, so we wanted to see what the restrictions were before purchasing, can we create a trial license for those?

Hello Sam,

You should be able to invite new users. Whenever you create a new user there is a 2 week Trial Period. After this time, if no purchased license has been given to that user then they automatically become an email-only user (you will see the word Trial disappear). 

For further clarification about trial account and licensing, please contact your Account Manager.

Diana,   I used the Send Invitation, but the email did not send.   Not sure why.   

As a work around, I asked the user to use the Forgot Password.  She did try that and got the email.  Unfortunately, she had to leave suddenly before logging in.    I think we will be able to get her started. 

Send invitation did not work, no email sent.  (I have used Send Invitation before successfully)

 

I think we are fine, I wanted to follow up and let you know the Send Invitation was not working in this instance, in case you wanted to look into it.

Hi Sam,

I'm not sure why the email was not received. We tested it on our side and it works as expected. Please have the user check the spam folder. If the email is not there or this issue occurs again, please open a support case and we will further investigate this issue.

The email was not in the spam folder.   I will check with other users when we add in the future.
