Why is the "Project Highlight Report" Grayed Out Under "Custom Actions"?

I just installed the project highlight report. But when i go to custom actions it is grayed out. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Ken,

There could be two reasons...

1 - Are you at the Project Module and highlighting a Project that you have full permissions to?

2 - Does your user have the required permissions to run the Project Highlight Report?

Hi Boris,

I seem to be having the same issue. I'm logged in as the administrator, so wouldn't that automatically mean I have all the required permissions to run it? I can run some reports, but not all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nevermind, I realized that I wasn't the manager on those projects I couldn't run! Thanks anyway!

Sima,

No, Admin permissions does not give you automatic rights. Administrator gives you access to create users, modify their information and access to Settings which include Global Settings, System Settings, Configurations, Interact and Applications.

In order to have full access to work items (i.e. Projects, Tasks, etc) you need to have the Superuser permission and if there are budget/Financial fields involved, you need the Financial User permisson. Let Me know if this does not help.

Sincerely,

Boris

You just need to be either the PM or Manager for the project and then the PHR is no longer greyed out
