Manager field default when manually adding tasks to a project?

I am manually entering projects and tasks for other project managers.  The property card shows the correct PM and PM's Manager, yet my name continues to default into the tasks as manager.  How do I insure the correct manager is populating on the tasks without changing each default entry manually?

Hi Beth,

Since you have the ability to add projects and tasks for other project managers, it will always default to the current user, which is you, to be the subproject/subtasks manager. If you want to ensure the correct manager is populating, you can create a workflow rule that runs whenever you create a new entry. You could post this question in our customization forum or during one of our Advanced QA webinars.
