Adding not the general Cases but bugs, issues, requests and risks in 'Add related'

Projectmanagers work with bugs, issues, requests or risks or combinations.
They don't work with 'cases' which is too non-descript; probably it is only a name for a collection of items in Clarizen.
During projects it would be very relevant to be able to add to a project only Bugs or only Risks, and immediately have specific fields. The fields for Bugs are different from those for Risks.
In Configuration I tried to add bugs, issues, requests and risks to the 'Add related' items that users can choose when they click 'Add related' in a project.
However: in Configuration I only found the general 'cases', so I couldn't add the specific case items bugs, issues, requests and risks.

Solution: Clarizen enables adding specific types of cases to a project directly in Add related.

Hi Daan,

Currently it is possible to that with creation of reverse reference. However, within a matter of 4-8 weeks we intend to have it as part of the product (current date is 8/23 but it can be pushed). I would suggest to follow up in the thread for future updates.

Best Regards,
Tamir

Hi Clarizen, can we have an update on this please?  Our project managers are specifically asking for the ability to add issues to projects using the 'Add Related' link in the relations panel.

Also, will this mean that issues will appear in their own box in the project view, as risks currently do?  I've attached a screenshot of what I mean - we need a list of issues like this that we can view from within the project.

Hi Damian,

This is now supported. When you click Add Related within a Project and select Cases, you are able to specify the Case type you wish to add.

Hi Evan, thanks for the update.  This is great news, although we can't add cases using the 'Add Related' option (from within a project) either.

Apologies if we're missing something obvious here - we've pored over the settings, etc. and can't find anywhere to enable this.

Let me know if I should log a call for this.

Cheers,
Damian

This is what we're getting:

Can you please go to Settings >> Profiles >> Master Profile >> Work Item (on left nav) >> Fields & Relations >> Related Items >> Add Cases >> click Okay. That should do the trick.
