Unable to update SFDC Project Owner Field from Clarizen

On the SFDC Clarizen Project I've got a Project Manager field (Lookup,User) which I am able to populate via the integration by mapping it to the Project Manager field in Clarizen.

I also want to update the Owner field on the SFDC Clarizen Project but when I map it to the Project Manager field in Clarizen - or even to the Manager field in Clarizen - it simply does not update the Owner field on the SFDC project.

On the integration mapping it shows that both of the above mappings are using the Mapping (Clarizen User <-> SFDC User ) so I can't figure out why it's updating the SFDC Project Manager field just fine but won't update the SFDC Owner field.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

You can't map the PM field in CLZ to two fields in SF unfortunately.

Regarding the the SF Project 'Owner' field, the field mapping should be done on the Project to Project mapping, not the Clarizen User <-> SFDC User mapping as the field is on the Clarizen Project (SF)

If this does not resolve the issue, please open up a support case and we will be happy to assist further.

Thanks Vanessa - I tried mapping the Clarizen Manager field to the SFDC Owner field and that didn't work either. I also had previously disabled one of the Project Manager field mapping to ensure there was only the one mapping of Project Manager (to the Owner) and it still didn't work. To clarify, all the mapping I discussed are on the Project to Project mapping. When you map user fields on the Project to Project mapping the integration automatically references the Mapping (Clarizen User <-> SFDC User (it shows up as linked text under the mapping).
