Email Users and Calendar

Is there a way for email users to post their upcoming tasks using iCalendar since they don't have access to Clarizen?

I am fairly certain this is not possible. Perhaps someone at Clarizen can confirm 100%.

I wonder if you might use some of the social features to grant access to your current email users. The functionlity exists to socially share projects with individuals not currently in the system. Have you explored other options such as the social features?

Thank you for the suggestion of looking at the social features available to email users. We're trying to automate it more, have the task added to their calendar until it is 100%.

That is correct, email users cannot post their upcoming tasks using iCalendar. They would have to log into Clarizen. However, there is the ability in the 'Progress update email' for the resource to subscribe to their task and have them populate them onto their calendar.

Thank you, Danielle. Below is a screen shot of a Progress Update email but I don't see where the user would subscribe to their task.

Hi Pam,

The next step would be to click on 'Quick Update' and this will take you to a pop up of the task(s) where you will see on the top right corner the option to subscribe to iCalendar. Please let me know if this helps.
