Change Task State with Custom Action

Hello,

How can I change the task state within a project plan using a custom action based on a criteria (criteria is known and works fine). I cannot seem to get the state to update on the task from completed to active. I have attached a screenshot with my current config. Please disregard any commented out code as it is not relevant and was used for test purposes only.

Hello Cody,

What is your Leaf Tasks Progress Reporting Policy?

Thank you,

Roland - I am not entirely sure what you are asking if I am being honest.

Roland,

I work with Cody and the Leak Tasks Progress Reporting Policy was set to Individual.  I changed it to Shared and ran the custom action.  It did not change the completed tasks to active.

Hi Crisha,

Is it possible the $C_CompletedTasksturnActive is FALSE? Could you try moving the Change State action outside of Conditional Action List to see if this helps?

If it does not, please raise a support ticket and we'll take a closer look.

Thank you,

Roland
