Have you tried Resource Management / Capacity Planning? If its a single Project and all the tasks/milestones are in the Work Plan, you could also use Roadmap to provide pictorial view

Calendar View by Project and Resource
Hello,
Is there a way to create a calendar view that shows the work items scheduled for a project and the resources assigned to those items? I've looked at the resource calendar view, reports, and dashboards. My initial guess is that this isn't actually possible.
These projects span across portfolios and clients. We are trying to use them to aid us in the scheduling process.
Any thoughts?
