That email is not customizable at the moment, but it is getting a visual design update tomorrow.
Progress Update Report
Team, On the Progress Update report that goes out like an Email Form. Is there anyway we can customize the form? Right now all it says is Notes and % Complete. Can I add a few custom fields in there?

Not in the near future, it is not currently on the roadmap for 2017.
Thats very interesting. I see posts as back as 2015, asking for the same thing that I am. Would be a good feature to have, specially because of the whole email user issue.
What is the email user issue?
