Project Widget for Salesforce

I want to pass the Full View project widget link back to Salesforce and I figured I would do so by creating a project widget link custom field that could then be synched up with Salesforce.

Our sales rep would like to be able to access a read-only view of their active order projects and this would be a perfect avenue for accomplishing that.

However, it seems that the only project widget options are Roadmap and Gantt.

Is there a way to generate the Full View project widget link through either a workflow rule or relation field... or alternatively is there a way to just pass the Full View project widget link directly through the Salesforce integration?

Hello Richard,

It may be possible if you create a workflow rule that would send the generated widget link to a custom field in Clarizen. Then you can map that field to a custom field in Salesforce.

I highly recommend engaging our PS team to create the custom workflow and mapping.

Bobby, Can you advise how to create Full View project Widget link? As mentioned earlier only Gantt and Roadmap options are available?

I reviewed this during an Open Office session and we were able to determine that the 'Full View' widget view option was something added sometime after the widget view was a thing.  Unfortunately, when that was added, it was only added to the 'Share Widget' UI (from the project) and was omitted from the GetWidgetHyperLink function (for workflow rule use).

There is an enhancement request logged to add 'full view' as a parameter option on the function but there is no ETA on it so far as I know.
