Download data from reports and dashboards widgets

When a external user using a widget view wants to download the information from a report or dashboard into excel, is there any option to do that?

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean. You should be able to download any report or dashboard by default. It could be that this option was disabled by an administrator or they are external users.
