Hi Terry, how are you approving PTO today? Are you using a specific app? Since PTO approvals are not out of the box, it would depend on your process and how the configurations are set.

FollowPTO Requests
We had someone book vacation, their manager didn't approve and now this person has a new manager who didn't receive the initial PTO request. What is the best method to fix this? I don't see a spot where they can cancel their initial request and re book.
Any feedback would be most appreciated.

thanks Josh, it would simply send an email trough to her direct boss and once approved would block off her time and keep our resource load tight. If it wasnt approved I would think she could just resubmit and have her new boss approve?
It would entirely depend on how the app is designed, again this is not out-of-the-box so someone would have to look at the app's code to answer that question. I would assume they could simply submit a duplicate request and it would be routed to the new direct manager and the first one could be ignored. If that doesn't work, I would contact the person that created or installed the app (or contact your CSM or PS Consultant).
