Remove Capacity for deleted users

Hello,

Looking for the Best Practice with Resource Utilization Reporting. What we would like is to have the ability to define when a user is no longer available, so his/her capacity is limited to the working days available for that period.

Use case:
UserA worked until 1/10 and then deleted because they left the company, therefore their capacity should be 7 days * 8 hrs/day = 56 hrs and not 176 hrs as shown in the Resource Utilization Report for the month of January.


I could not find a User field for recording the last day a person is available, so I guess there is currently no way to account for this or have I missed something? Is there a setting that will auto-calculate when a user is no longer available like being deleted (leaves company)?

Boris,

You can remove this request: I attended the Clarizen Webinar yesterday and found the Capacity calculation is driven by the user Calendar. So, if you make the resource unavailable, the capacity is removed.

It is a reasonable workaround
