What would archiving do? Just lock for new posts?

Archive user group
I would like to have the option of archiving a user group. Currently I only see an option of deleting them. I would like to archive in order to retain discussions and related items.

I was looking to do the same thing yesterday, we can suspend a user so they don't show and can't be assigned tasks, but can't archive a user group other than deleting it completely.

From my perspective it would be the following;
- Does not show in resource listings
- No one can join
- Ability to filter out of views
So for me it would behave in a similar way as archiving a user profile, no one is able to assign anything new or include in a discussion. But historic data is still preserved.
