I'd be interested to understand the best way to do this.

Hello,
We have had a lot of negative feedback about the icon to add notes, for our email only users, on the progress update. It is a very small icon and our users, even after training, find it is not obvious to find and use.
The previous column for adding notes being on the left of the visible columns was far more engaging and easy to use. We are finding that the use has gone down leading to the need for our PM, Full user, Community to do far more work to find out why things have been changed.
