Show Total of Project Assignment in new Resource Planning view

When in Resource Planning view (not Resource Load view), include the Total of the planned Project Assignment % for each of the time columns. I can see the total of current Task Assignments but when using Resource Planning for future projects I need to be able to easily see if I have exceeded maximum capacity in the Project Assignments only (not including Task Assignments of course), without manually having to add up each of the Project Assignments in every time column to check. In other words, just as when making Task Assignments you need to know ASAP if you exceed capacity, you also need this in Resource Planning view when making Project Assignments. Without this I'm struggling to find the Resource Planning view very useful as there's too much manual effort.

There was a slightly longer chat about this with Boris under Request #37377

Hi Boris,

No - your screenshot shows the total hours on tasks within a single project.

I'm talking about the total across all projects, for Project Assignment planning (NOT actual tasks).

So on the attached screenshot, the total of the Project Assignment (planned work not actual tasks) for the week starting 07/08/17 is 120% - see the highlighted figures.

However, this total is not displayed anywhere on the screen as far as I can see.

So, I would have to manually add up all the Project Assignment figures for each time period to be sure that the planned work does not exceed 100%.

The Task Assignments are totalled up, but not the Project Assignments.

Thanks,

Dave
