We are using Clarizen Excel Developer add-in for integrating Clarizen to our Data Warehouse. The add-in stopped working and based on the troubleshooting steps, I had to uninstall the add-in. I am not able to install the add-in again and I keep getting an error. This has happened a couple of times. I got it working the first time by adding clarizen to trusted sites on IE.
Install log error:

Error: An error occurred trying to download 'https://www.clarizen.com/apps/ExcelAddin/developer-net-4/Clarizen%20Excel%20Add-in%20V3.1.vsto'.
I've tried all possible solutions for HRESULT '-2146697208' error to no avail. I would really appreciate some help in resolving this. Thank you!

Hi Ashish,
Please go ahead and uninstall the Excel Add in. Then, please do the following:
1) go to the app store and locate the correct version:
https://www.clarizen.com/apps/clarizen-excel-add-in/
2) Depending on the .net version and whether you are using 32 or 64 bit you can download the correct type.

Thank you for your prompt response.I did go through the steps mentioned by you before I posted on the forum. I still get the same error. Is there an explanation about the error I get? I checked previous post for people getting similar error but there has been no explanation about why this happens.
Apparently even a local installation on my machine crashed
We are getting the same error. It started on Monday for us.
I was able to get the add-in running again. We are running the add-in on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Data Center SP1. I turned off IE Enhanced Security Configuration in Server Manager and the plug-in installed successfully. As for the add-in installed locally on my machine, the standard troubleshooting steps mentioned on Clarizen Excel add-in documentation did the job for me. It would be helpful, if someone from Clarizen product team can provide an explanation about this.
