Role based user creation and maintenance

Hi, It would make it a lot easier for me as admin if we could have a the ability to create a number of template user roles. Then if I need to create a new user or to provide a current user different authorities I can do that by assigning a new or additional roles.
At the moment I have to find users with similar roles and try to copy all the same settings which is not handy and error prone.

Hello Michael,

It is possible to create a Custom Action that would create a new User and set its fields according to what was predefined in the Custom Action. For example:

Thanks Roland,

I know I can create custom actions but there is only so much time I can spend on developing things myself. I believe that Clarizen would be better if it would provide for a more embedded Role Based approach to keep up with best practices. 

The function should provide for template roles that you can assign to new or existing users and that if a template changes, you can upgrade the users based on this role as well.
