Bulk Move Tasks from Multiple Milestones to a Single Milestone

We have a large number of projects that each contain 10 milestones. We want to only use two of those milestones going forward. Is there a way to move all tasks from the eight milestones that will no longer be necessary into one of the milestones that we plan to keep? All of the milestones use the same names in all of the projects, so we can key off of specific $Name fields if necessary.

Also, we will then want to delete all of those milestones that would be empty after the above process in bulk from all of those projects.

Can anyone think of ways to accomplish those two things using SWFRs or otherwise? Thank you!
