Issues Management

Is there a difference in the issue states in the issue tab? For example is there a difference between opened and in work or resolved and closed? Do they have specific definitions or important in anyway?

No, we used to in the past but ended up opening up these fields for our customers to customize, define, and build workflow around as they see fit.  I would recommend hopping on a Q&A forum to cover best practices around this.
