If you are charging a set amount regardless of how many hours are logged, then I would use the "Fixed Price" column to set this fixed billing rate for a particular task (or milestone, or project).

FollowActual Revenue
Hi,
Is there a way to change the way "Actual Revenue" is calculated?
For example I have a task with budgeted work set to 8 hours. I complete the task in 4 hours and close it.
This is a quoted job, therefore the revenue for this task should not be affected by the time logged against the task.
Its the profitability in this case should be adjusted to reflect the "write-on" or go to negative if more time logged that was budgeted.
Thanks for help in advance.

Hello Josh,
How I can compare the Fixed Budget against the Actual Cost at a project level? Because When I enter Fixed Cost the Actual Cost is deleted And I wan to to know if I am still in my fixed Budget or above.
What I would do is baseline the project when you are done planning it out so you can compare the Baselined actual cost with the actual cost at the end of the project.
