What is the use for an email license?
A user with one of this license can access to Clarizen with a username and password? ... Which are their permissions?

Email only users never login to Clarizen, but rather receive email update requests where they can update their progress on tasks, or subscribe to iCal feeds.
Email licenses are free.
Typically you would assign this to end users that would only need to report progress without needing to review the full work plan or use other modules like issues\requests\etc.

An email only user is a resource that never logs into Clarizen but does get Automatic Email Notifications to alert them to work items that they have been assigned to. These users can then update their progress on their assigned work items directly through a link located within the emailed update request.
Email only users can be anyone within the organization that does not need to access the system, meaning that this user is strictly a resource and does not have any other project related roles. Because these resources never need to log in, they do not require a license and therefore they are 100% free and unlimited for your organization.
