is it possible to start a stopwatch in one day and stop it in the next day ?

suppose one of our technicians start a job at 08:00PM and finish it art 01:00 AM next day.

I am using Interact emails to start/stop the stopwatch.

Is it possible or the email rule will fail ?

Actually, Ithis was a real condition and I received the following error message via email:

An error occurred while executing action 'New Object' in a customization named 'Stop Stopwatch': Timesheet Entries must be between 0 and 24 hours.

Use one of the following formats:

1:00 (or 1:30), 6 h (or 6.5h), 2 d (or 1.5 d).

Thanks!

Hi Eytan

If you do this in the the UI the time entry will auto split for you across the midnight, you can then choose to fix it up manually if you want all hours on one of the 2 days.

However if you are doing this via customizations you (or whoever wrote the rule) probably have not taken this scenario into consideration.

Can you paste in the formula that creates the new object?

Thanks,
