how do new users get password

New users get welcome email but no temp password to log in.

HI Mark,

New time & expense or full users should receive an email invitation with a line: "Please accept this invitation to activate your Clarizen account and set you username and password." The paragraph under that should have a default username, usually usually firstname.lastname, with the option of choosing a password and username when you login.  Either of the links bring you to a login screen that will prompt the user for setting a password.  There is no temporary password sent.  If this is not the case, please open a ticket and we will research.

Doesn’t work.  The link just takes the new user to the customer login page where a password is required.  Since they do not have a password they cannot log in.

Can you check to make sure these user were not setup as email-only, or none users? Can you also confirm that they have licenses assigned? Also, can you post the exact text of the welcome email they are receiving? Thanks!

Furthermore, assuming they not email only users, you can have them select the “forgot password” link – that should reset the password and resend them an invitation.
