Why does my Gantt View date out to 2083?

I created a gantt view for my project, which ends in 2013, but the view goes out to 2083 and I can't figure out where to change it.  I also don't know what the icons on the right hand side of the gantt do because there's not text to suggest what the symbols mean.

Kim, there is likely some task or work item that somebody accidentally typed in 2083 instead of 2013.  I would suggest entering a a ticket for our customer success to look into it.  

 

There is a legend button (see screenshot) at the upper right hand corner that if you hover your mouse over, it will give you details of all icons on the Gantt screen.
