I have a task that has been completed PAST the due date. I updated the ACTUAL COMPLETION date field, but nothing changed in subsequent tasks...what is the best way that I should reflect actual progress so that we see the impact on downstream tasks?
I'd like to see the actual vs. planned execution...do I have to change the planned start/end?

You can use this app to automatically update successors when the predecessor has been completed late: https://www.clarizen.com/appsmarketplace/item/Successor-Task-Scheduling.html. We do not do this by default since many Project Managers want tight control over when dates are updated.
