Fields available in new chart views

I'm trying to create a new chart view, and many of the custom fields we've created show up as available for the x or y axis of a scatter chart, but not all.

Specifically, I have a couple of calculated fields that I really would like to plot, but they don't appear. The fields are based on a formula that weights the values of other numeric fields (those do show up as available.

Is there a specific reason for this, and is there a way to make calculate fields available for charts?

I can submit a feature request for you, but it does not to appear to be a feature that is available right now.

Please do. It would be extremely useful to us! We've been waiting to do scatter charts internally in Clarizen on these fields since we got Clarizen.
