1.) Did you consider moving the window to the wide column on the left? This is an option when editing a view (drag & drop from right to left).
2.) Settings >> Layout >> Choose Object >> Related Items
Hi, for all the "related items" on the right hand side of the views, I can customize it in the individual modules for the details and layouts. However I have two questions:
1) sometimes the window is not big enough to show all items when I use Grid, is there a place to set it to something like "autofit"?
2) once I click the "See All", the new window that fills the screen has a different format/layout than the small window, where do I customize that window?
Thanks in advance.

1) tried that, it works fine; when switching to full screen, it maintained its format; however if the window is on right hand side, when maximize, the format changes to a default setting
2) don't know what this will solve relate to the format issue for point 1), can you explain more
2.) I misled you. Edit your view and then click "manage" for the related item you want to adjust the columns for in the expanded view. That is where you would set the default order. Note that when you are in the expanded view, you can click the gear icon in the upper left and manage to edit the columns on the fly. Also in V6 you can drag & drop columns to reorder them instantly.
Understood. Thank you. Now if I do it as admin, will everyone else's format change as well?
If it is a global view, then yes. If it is one of your personal views, then it will only apply to your account.
Josh, thanks for the fast reply. I guess my real question is that I am not able to find global view setting for this particular window type.
Which object is in this window?
Josh, please see the two attachments. The first is to show the upper right "Program Issues" window; the second is to show when clicked the "see all", the full screen window, which has a different format and content. I know the full screen version can be customized when it is full screen, but I am looking for a place in the system where the content and format of the full screen mode can be customized at admin level.
I had to cut the pages due to confidentiality issues. I assume you are able to tell what windows they are...
When you go to edit the view, there should be a "manage" button for that related item. That is where you would set this on a global level (assuming the view is shared with all users).
Josh, I have two questions:
1) I assumed the views ARE shared by default, is it not? Where do I set that?
2) I went in settings->layout->Work Item->Project and edited the view through the "manage" button for the "project module view" in my uploaded image; however in my example of "program issue details", there is no entry in the settings that can change that, only through the actual views outside of "settings"
Did I miss anything here?
Go to the upper left of the screen, click on the view, and then click edit. This should take you to a page that lets you see whether it is a view shared with yourself or everyone (towards the top). One this page, you should also see each related module and a "manage" button for most. You do not want to go through the system settings, but edit the view directly from the view dropdown menu. I would also recommend a Q&A webinar (http://webinars.clarizen.com) if you are still not able to find this option.
As I see it, this is a question of customizing the columns and filters in the "full screen" view you get when you maximize the boxes in the right side of the screen.
Where can this be set? Or is can this not - like the order in the module views - be changed?
Correct, and this is what determines which fields show up and in which order when you expand a panel. You edit the view and then manage the related panels.
I got it. I seems like the layout of these maximised views are saved together with the normally visible views.
This was not clear to me. Maybe a note should be added to the manual regarding this? Thanks.
I think that's a good idea, will put in a documentation request.
