You can easily hide them just by clicking the filter button in the upper right (check active, draft, but not completed). This can be done in both task views and hierarchical project views.

Do you have somre resources to show how to manage completed tasks / projects?
Seems they do not go away? Are the archived / can they be searched on still? How to you manage completed tasks and projects?
