You cannot send emails in replies yet; however, this is something that we are looking to address in the future.

FollowAttachments in Email replies
Hi,
I am looking for a way to attach files in my email replies to an issue logged in clarizen. I am able to receive attachments from the external user while the vice versa is not possible. Is this something possible in Clairzen? Please advice.
Thanks,
Usha

Is this something that is now active? We are hoping to use this same tool for the emails
Lindsay,
This is actually possible using Interact rules. Can you tell me your specific needs? Do you simply want to be able to send an email with attachment and have an Issue created or something different?
Just to let you know...
There are Interact rules prepackaged and available for your use from the Apps Marketplace, simply search Interact.
Sincerely,
Boris Krutiy
Hi Boris- We need to have the ability to send emails in the actual projects, once approved and active, with attachments to other contacts in the department. I had submitted a question, and Tom let me know that the use we are looking for is not currently available.
Can you let me know what the Interact rules are that I can check to see if it is indeed an option for our use?
Lindsay,
This should be possible, though I am not 100% sure and it would need to be tested but here is what you can look at...
As mentioned before, there are prepackaged Interact Rules in Apps Market place that you can install and play around with. I would look at the InterAct Samples and the 'Attach Triggering Email to Work Item'. These have a number of Interact rules that would allow you to do what you want. For example,
The Attach Triggering Email to Work Item rule allows **licensed **users to attach the email they send, along with attachments, to a work item. The format of the email should be <WorkItemID>@<Domain>.clarizenmail.com, where <WorkItemID> is the work item's ID or Alias (which can be obtained from the work item's view or properties card) and <Domain> can be obtained from the InterAct settings page.
