Reopening a Timesheet

Hello,

I discovered time entry for a project task was incorrect. The time is for March 3, and today is March 20. Clarizen appears to have allowed me to reopen the timesheet, but I cannot change the values and resubmit. Is there a time limit on reopening a timesheet to be able to resubmit time?

No time limit.  Are you getting any sort of error message?  Can you try logging out, logging back in, and giving it one more shot? If it still does not work can you please open up a support case. Thanks!

HI Josh,

No, I don't get an error, but the 2 cells I want to update show as 'locked'. I'll send a screencast when I open the ticket. Thanks!

Are you sure that you changed the state on the timesheet to reopen?  Could resource assignments been changed since the timesheet was submitted?

I had reopened the timesheet, however, I fixed this problem by changing the task status back to active for the first item, and I had to manually change the start date of the task to be within the timeframe of the timesheet.  We do not allow time reporting on completed or tasked that have not started yet. That allowed me the remove the time and add it to the correct task.

Thanks for triggering the thought that solved this one.
