There is no equivalent function, but what I typically do is just open projects that I am actively working on in their own tab. Middle clicking on project links from the Project Module is one quick way to do this. I also bookmark my favorite projects in the browser, use recent from the nav, or utilize the global search for quick access to specific projects.
