Adding tasks to timesheet from specific project

Hello! I'm Mikhail and I am pretty new to Clarizen.

Wanted to know is it possible for an employee with Time&Expence License to add a task from a specific project to the Timesheet when he is assigned for a project with ability to report on nesting tasks. Now, when a user tries to add existing reportable item to his timesheet he can only search items based on their name which is not useful enough.  So the question is, can i create a custom action for a timesheet to do this? Or maybe there is a native function?

If anyone has done this please share your experience.

Unfortunately that user would need a full license in order to be able to do that.

And there is no ability to change "Add existing item" dialogue window? To add an addition column (Project) as we can do with any view? Or there is an ability to create custom action that will do that?

You can create a custom action but I don't think T&E users will be able to run it.  As for adding a column to the search box, you can do that by going to Settings >> Layout, pick the object, then go to the search options.
