All you need to do is assign those resources to one task, click on the cell, copy it (Ctrl+C), then select the resource cells in the other tasks (you can select multiple at once) and paste (Ctrl+V). Think of it the same as copying one cell in Excel and pasting that to multiple cells.

FollowHow do I easliy assign the same resources to multiple tasks
I have a project with 20 tasks, all have the same 10 resources. How do I easily replicate the assignment?

Of course this does now work if you want to add a single resource to 20 tasks if these tasks all have different resource assignments, which is a shame.
We need a "add, keep existing" function for all copy/past operations in the Clarizen grid
Peter,
This is actually possible to do currently. If you go to the Task Module you will be able to see Tasks with the Team Panel on the left. If you do not see the Team Panel, you can create a view that shows the team panel. Then, find the 20 Tasks and check them (checkbox on left most column to highlight them) and then Click + HOLD on the Resource and drag/drop to the Tasks. This action will add the single Resource to all selected Tasks.
OK, I did not think of this but to be the actions above takes as long time as just adding them one by one in the work plan (since you have to filter for relevant tasks).
Following up on this question. I modified the task view to include the project name and can filter on the project so only the relevant tasks are displayed.
I see the resources assigned in the team panel on the left, and the "add related" is shown underneath. As soon as I check more than one item however, the team panel disappears, the "add related" disappears, and the right rail says "Multiple Items Selected". The "Add Related" button in the above the task list is also disabled.
Did this functionality change in v6 or am I missing an important, crucial step?
Hi Eric,
The Add Related buttons grey out when you have multiple select because it is not a bulk update feature. You can only update on work item at a time.
As Josh mentioned above, the quickest way is to do (Ctrl+C) on the cell with the desired resources, select the cell you want the same resources for, then hit (Ctrl+V).
The team panel doesn't disappear when I select multiple Tasks though. Could you please open a case and provide your login credentials (with a temporary password set in My Profile) so that we can have a closer look at why that might be happening?
Attached are the screenshots of what I'm seeing with one task selected and with multiple tasks selected
Hi Eric,
The buttons greying out is expected behavior because you cannot bulk update multiple tasks out of the box.
The right side panel is actuallty called the "related items panel". The team panel is something different that can be added to that view. See screenshot - http://screencast.com/t/gAe2ZQmjc
