Licensed user cannot enter time into a valid task

The task is fine (active, end date in the future, is reportable)

And a user who is assigned to that task.  We get the error in the  attached picture when we try to enter time for last week.  For the current week the task doesn't even show up.


What is happening?

This message would seem to mean that the User in question has been suspended, deactivated, deleted or simply removed from the Task as a Resource. Also, there is an App in Apps Marketplace called "Find and Replace Resource...".

If you are using this App or any of the above states on the Resource are true, it could explain why you are getting this error.
