File Maintenance

Hi Guys,

 

Im an admin of our Clarizen system and we are using the vanillia Clarizen file system (not Google, Box etc). I have some questions.

 

1) There is no Files option on the Navigation bar - how as an admin do i go through all files saved and delete ones that are not needed (so i can start enforcing housekeeping policies).

 

2) I know with Box you can create folders, how can you do this with the vanillia Clarizen system? When selecting Templates for the publishing app, the file system is very cluttered and you need to go through filtering steps. It would be nicer to have folder structure in place (attached example).

I understand your need here but the majority of our customers are using either the Google Docs or Box Integrations and many actually prefer it that way. We currently have no File Management structure but it is in on the roadmap which is the good news. The bad news is that it is on the long-term roadmap which means that it will not likely be released in 2015.

Concerning File's - Where you save them in Clarizen is this a global space or is it different per user of our implementation?

Is File management available now or will be available in the near term roadmap?

It is still on the roadmap, but there is no specific ETA. Boris' suggestion is still valid of using Google Docs/Apps or Box.
