Embed URLs in Discussions

I want to add a URL to a discussion, but I want to do it with a hyperlink so that the full URL isn't exposed. If you've ever used SharePoint, you know that their URLs can be long and clunky, so I wanted to make a pretty name for the link like "click here".

Any tips to do this?
