Following People

If I Follow another Clarizen user, what does that mean?  Am I for instance, going to receive a copy of every email they send in my email (which is what seems to be happening).  If they post a note will I receive an email about that?  Is there any documentation on this?  I searched the user manual but could only find info on following discussions, not people.
