How do I introduce lead in a dependency setup ?

How do I set a lead of a specified number of days while creating a dependency between milestones?

There is a provision for creating a lag while setting up the dependency, but what should be done to introduce a lead. Scenario

Current

FINISH to START dependency is set up between Milestone 1 and Milestone 2

Milestone 1: Initiation  (start date: 01/01/2015- 01/30/2015

Milestone 2: Requirements (start date 01/31/2015-  02/15/2015)

Expected

FINISH to START dependency is set up between Milestone 1 and Milestone 2

Lead : 10 days

Milestone 1: Initiation  (start date: 01/01/2015- 01/30/2015

Milestone 2: Requirements (start date 01/20/2015-  02/05/2015)

Ohpira,

So sorry, forgot to mention the most important piece which caused some confusion...

We actually do have LEAD...

Lead and Lag are two different things. Lead is days ahead or prior and is set in the dependency window as a negative value whereas Lag is a buffer before the start of the next item and represented as a positive value within the Lag field (which is what causes confusion).

Sincerely,

Boris
