Hi Michael,
You are correct. You cannot make subsequent tasks to start on the first day of each month due to calendar settings. However, you can do this via customization by creating a custom action.
if I want to set several sequential tasks to occur every month on the first day for , I want to link them together - setting the first task to the first of the first month - and set their lag to be 1 month and duration to be 1 hr. However, the subsequent dates are not showing up on the first, I believe due to calendar settings. In other programs, they have an "elapsed" day or month setting to where if you type in a lag or duration is an "elapsed" period of time it provides that exact period of time without regard for working calendar. Is there anyway to do that here? Continuous makes the problem worse.

I am not sure I understand how durations work then. For instance, if I put in a task has a 12 month duration, it shows that the finish date is 11 months after the start date. Can you please explain why this is and how to address it? Pretty important I'm able to accurately input scheduling data with this tool. If I require a custom action to make this work can you expand on this?
