PTO Report

We added a PTO Project where resource can put their PTO time in on their time sheet and choose with a dropdown menu which type

of PTO it is. File attached.

How can I run a report with the dropdown options listed.  I was trying via a custom report and couldn't figure it out.

Hi Stacy,

At the moment, we do not support reporting via PTO Time. However, I have submitted a feature request regarding this.

Stacy,

PTO Type is most likely a Custom Field. Depending on what Item type this field was created on (i.e. Timesheet), you should be able to run a Custom Report, or create a View that shows the fields you want, including PTO Type. This should give you the information you are looking for.

Sincerely,

Boris

Ah yes, Boris is correct. If this is a custom field, you can run a report based on the custom field.

It was a custom field that Seema added the other day. Where can I find that field in the custom report? I have looked and have not found it. Can you point me in the right direction? I can send you a login and PW if you need it.

It depends on the type of the Custom Field. It should be in the report. provide me your credentials by sending to boris.krutiy@clarizen.com (do not place here as it is seen publicly) and I will look up how your custom field is setup.

Sincerely,

Boris

Hi Stacy,

If this is a custom field under timesheet, you would need to use the Excel Add-in to create the report.

I figured it out and ran the report through excel...thx! Is there a way to save this report for further use?

Saving the report in Excel is sufficient. All you will need to do in the future is open the file, go to the Clarizen Tab and click on Refresh to re-query the DB for the latest information.

Sincerely,

Boris
