Contacts are not added to Projects. The flow is that you create Customers in the Customer Module and add Contacts to the Customer Accounts. As for the Project, you only add the Customer as a Related Link. This will show in a Panel and allow you to click on the Customer which will take you to that module and that specific Customer and you will see the contacts.
